— When Blood And Prayers Are Woven Fine

I have no words for what is happening in Boston except for a feedback loop in my head:

“When blood and prayers are woven fine…..when blood and prayers are woven fine….”

But I wonder, who along Boylston between Exeter and Ring streets shivers again at the strike of  bombs on home turf: first in lower Manhattan, and now in the shadow of the Boston Public Library. Bonds that tie the two cities together go way back in American history; they’ve shared much. Today, people have homes in both, thousands of individuals fly back and forth between the two daily. For many, they are twin loves.

Give blood and prayers. Donating blood is a prayer that keeps praying.
